and MY PASSION

I guess I can start by saying, the subject of divine healing is a passion of mine because it is a display of God's heart toward us.  God desires for all people to healthy and whole in all aspects of their life.  God desires to reveal His love to the world to people by touching and healing their bodies.  That's just the plain truth. 

In my own life I am passionate because of what I go through everyday. When I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis everything was affected.  I have never been able to join my girls on a bike ride, to go on long walks with my wife, or enjoy simple pleasures like skiing or snowboarding. This is where some of my zeal comes from, but it is not the greatest part of the driving force behind my quest or belief for healing.  click here for my story

He was bald with nearly all his hair gone and it was very noticeable.  Although I don't know what the reason for this was, I can guess it wasn’t good.  Again in August of 2009 a wife and kids lost their husband and father to cancer.  In late fall of 2009 a church laid to rest it’s pastor, a wife lost her husband and children lost their dad, when another person was struck down with cancer.  I have family members who have lost their loved ones to sickness and disease. I see people who suffer daily with terrible pain and physical struggles. As I look down Sunday after Sunday into the congregation I minister to, I see those who are afflicted with disease, who can't see, who are deaf, who are in immense physical pain, who have life-threatening diseases. Walking through the mall it's very evident that sickness and disease strikes all kinds, young, old, small, large, male, female, rich and poor.

I realize that everyone of these, including myself, have been attacked by the enemy of our lives and He has come to destroy us.  Yes, sometimes we play a part in allowing that sickness to enter our life, but it all originates with our enemy.  He wants to destroy and chain up the very creation of God so we cannot live or fulfill the purpose God has for us.

It is fueled by the lies that have fed the church and especially those sick, which has caused us to be powerless in wake of this onslaught. Sickness is not from God, it's never His will, it's not what He wants for anyone.

I want to see Jesus get everything He paid for on the cross. He paid for my healing, He paid for all to be healed, it's important I do my part and go for it with all I got to ensure I partner with Jesus and see that payment is received in full.

My passion starts with the life of Christ, He came anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power to destroy the works of the enemy.  As a Christian this is my mandate and call as well. To see the works of the enemy destroyed around me and people brought into life.
